Dianne Dempsey-Legnon is a retired educator and teacher-consultant with the Acadiana Writing Project. She is the author of “Belair Cove: A Novel of Life, Love, and Loss in a Prairie Cajun Village” and the third daughter of Willis Fontenot.

Dianne lives with her husband, Michael, in Lafayette, Louisiana.
